Video of your Programming Running on the microbit make code site (not a phone recording of your actual device)
What should my video look like?
Before you start recording add 1 thing to your code
On Start: Scroll Your Name
Hit the Slo-Mo Button (the snail) below your Micro:Bit on the screen so that I can see the code running.
Now - on the screen I want to see the simulated microbit on the left and I should be able to see some or most of your code as well. Do not worry if some of your code is not visible at this point.
If it is INSIDE the black and white box then I can see it.
MUTE the narration video - I do not want to hear you OR more importantly the people sitting next to you who do not know that you are recording.
Record your Program Running and show me all the features of your program. Use the yellow arrow thingy to "turn" your micro:bit.
Remember to move slowly enough that I can understand what you are doing
Make sure to include everything you programmed (buttons being pushed? shaking?)
When you are finished with your video (which should be between 45 seconds and 2 minutes) then it is time to Save
FileName: yourlastName_Navigation
LOCATION: change the location to save to your desktop
always be in charge of where your files or saved - never just hit save (then you can't find that file!)
How do I turn in this video:
Move your video file from the desktop to your one drive (I usually just drag and drop)
WATCH THE VIDEO and create a shareable link.
IF YOU SEND ME AN EMAIL I WILL DEDUCT 150 POINTS FROM YOUR QUARTER AVERAGE
THIS IS NOT PHILLIPS OR CLARK SCIENCE FAIR FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS not what some MS teacher taught you
Then Copy and Paste that Link in the Google Classroom
Print your Code from Micro:bit Make Code Site
Download this file and type your responses. You may change the font but please make sure it fits onto one page. Use correct sentences where appropriate but do not re-write the question/prompt.
