Day 1: Parity Bit

Deadline 3.20 9:00 PM

PreviousAre you Out ThereNextDay 2: Software Development Cycle

Last updated 5 years ago

Up first- the Parity Bit or the least significant BIT....that little bit in the one's place that we can use to be on the look out for typographical errors or a missing digit.

Step 1: Watch this short video and take some notes with me (you know you wanna write in your CIB)

Now Program a Parity Bit Checker With Me!!!

Your Part: Create a Screen Cast o Matic Video of your program running and enter the assigned random numbers (see chart below) . When you are finished, upload the video of your program running to the Canvas. YOU MUST be logged into your SNAP Account for me to grade the video

In case you forgot: we turn work in the canvas

Final Step - take the Parity Bit Recall Quiz that should be live before I go to bed 3.18.20

This is all we will have for this first week - I will send a schedule for the Week out via remind when I get a chance - who knew that quarantined life was so busy!
